Boris Cifuentes was born and raised in New York City, the younger of two brothers to Central American immigrant parents. His childhood was raptured by 80's films : The Goonies, Teen Wolf, Risky Business, leaving no question that being a filmmaker was his course in life. Cranking out scratchy black & white films at Bronx Community College in the late 90's inspired by professor Jeffrey Wisotsky he learned creative grit to make his own movies with little funds. Boris has gone on to have several of his short films play at festivals. When he's not creating his own projects Boris is working as a proud union member of LOCAL 52 I.A.T.S.E. as a motion picture lighting technician. Having worked on TV shows such as : THE CARRIE DIARIES, GOTHAM, POSE and LAW & ORDER. His other passions include photography, drawing and imbibing expensive cocktails in swanky Manhattan bars.
